Yup, we’ve updated our logo. Why?
Greenawalt Roofing Company has been around since 2004. In the past 16 years, they’ve experienced an amazing amount of growth, including expanding their service areas and home improvement offerings to more than just roofing. It’s for these reasons that they’ve chosen to make some updates to their logo.
One of the most notable changes includes dropping the words “Roofing Company” from the logo itself.

“As we expand into new areas like Pittsburgh, where people aren’t too familiar with our brand, we want customers to know that we aren’t just a roofing contractor,” says Greenawalt’s Marketing & Advertising Manager Bryant Hughes. “Sure, roofing is our bread and butter, but Greenawalt is a proven expert for full exterior home services as well.”
In addition to being voted the #1 roofing company in LNP’s Reader’s Choice (a title they’ve held onto each of the past 5 years), Greenawalt has been voted a #1 siding company as well. They were also nominated by Harrisburg Magazine’s Simply the Best in multiple categories, including contractor/remodeling, doors/windows, home repairs, renovations/restoration services, and, of course, roofing. The company really wants all of their capabilities to shine and believe the addition of “Roofing, Siding, and Gutters” in the logo will assist.
Keeping true to the brand’s roots

The original logo, designed by Owner and Founder Travis Greenawalt when he started the company, has become well-known throughout the area, being featured on vans, trucks, job signs, billboards, and even banners at high school football stadiums. It’s a major reason why the new logo definitely draws inspiration from the original with similar lettering, shape, and signature red and black color.
“The new logo is really less of a full-blown redesign and more of a refresh,” says Travis Greenawalt. “We wanted it to be similar enough that it would still be easily recognized and associated with our company, but with a cleaner, more modern look. Visually, it’s sharp, and my team and I are very pleased with what we’ve come up with.”
Most importantly, Greenawalt Roofing wants their customers to know that they are still the same trusted home improvement partner they have trusted for nearly two decades.
The public should expect to see Greenawalt’s new logo on all upcoming ad campaigns, direct mail, company vehicles, marketing materials, etc., phasing out the original one over the next few months.
